Founded in 1976, the Titusville Sailing Club has been a cornerstone of the local sailing community for nearly half a century. In its early years, the club thrived with a strong membership, a competitive keelboat fleet, and regular regattas that brought together sailors from across Florida. It was a hub for learning, competition, and camaraderie, fostering a deep love for sailing among its members.
Over time, the club saw changes, and while our numbers have decreased, our passion for sailing remains unwavering. Today, we are a tight-knit community of dedicated sailors, committed to keeping the spirit of sailing alive in Titusville. We offer in-house sailing instruction, maintain a fleet of well-loved boats from the 1980s, and partner with the University of Central Florida Sailing Team, ensuring our waters remain active and full of life.
But we are not stopping here. Our vision is to rebuild and revitalize the club to its former glory—and beyond. We aim to create a streamlined sail training pipeline for beginners, making sailing more accessible to all. We plan to bring back quarterly regattas, reignite youth interest in sailing, and expand to a newer and larger fleet. A proper clubhouse and stronger ties with the local community will solidify our place as a true asset to Titusville.
Whether you are an experienced sailor or a complete beginner, there is a place for you here. Join us as we chart a new course for the future of sailing in Titusville.
